Following the stakeholder forum and the bi-lateral engagement on the Integrated Single Electricity Market (I-SEM) High Level Design for Ireland and Northern Ireland from 2016, the Regulatory Authorities (RAs) committed to publishing worked examples in order to illustrate the trading opportunities across the different timeframes for the various HLD options as presented in the I-SEM consultation paper.
The attached slide set includes a generic set of formula which can be applied across all participants for the range of European timeframes. Also included are two worked examples for a wind generator and a supplier who will be less familar with active trading than thermal generators.
