I-SEM ETA Trading and Settlement Code Amendments Consultation responses
Extension of the Trading and Settlement Code Amendments Consultation period – Closing 24th January 2017
At the I-SEM Market Rules Working Group meeting on 15th December a number of requests were made to extend the closing date of the Trading and Settlement Amendments Consultation (currently 10th January 2017). Several written requests to this effect have also been received by the RAs in the past week.
The reasons cited to support the request for an extension were the concurrency of several consultations, the Christmas and New Year Period and in particular, the complexity and volume of materials to be reviewed in the TSC Amendments Consultation.
On this basis, the RAs have decided to extend the consultation period for the Trading and Settlement Code Amendments to 24th January 2017. In facilitating this request, it is proposed to move the publication of the Decision on the Trading and Settlement Code Amendments (Milestone 68) by the same amount to April 5th 2017. This proposed change will be subject to impact assessment as per the I-SEM change control process.
The consultation on the Capacity Market Code will still commence in January and there will therefore be an overlap of consultations on the two Codes. This consultation will be for a six-week period as planned.
