The SEM Committee has today, 10 June 2024, published a Decision Paper outlining a revised regulatory revenue recovery framework for SEMOpx. This follows a Consultation on the proposed revised revenue recovery framework from SEMOpx (SEM-24-022). One response was received to the Consultation and this response is published with this Decision Paper.
SEMOpx provides day-ahead and intraday electricity market trading as part of the Single Electricity Market.
SEM committee’s decision is to broadly follow the new streamlined approach, proposed by SEMOpx, whereby an enhanced annual submission process will be implemented rather than conducting a full detailed price control for SEMOpx every three years.
