The SEM Committee is today, 6th October 2023, publishing a supplementary consultation paper on two modified and combined proposed CMC modifications to facilitate the delivery of delayed capacity.
Rather than approving modification proposals related to delays currently before the SEM Committee for approval as written, the SEM Committee is considering using its powers under B.12.11.4 of the CMC to make two modified and combined Modifications which have an increased scope and may be more appropriate to the current situation.
The first mod aims to reduce the risk to investors that a new CMU can meet its extended SFC Date and the second mod under consideration aims to mitigate risks that materialise after SFC has been achieved.
Responses to the consultation paper must be sent to both the UR and CRU CRM Submissions inboxes (CRMsubmissions@uregni.gov.uk and CRMsubmissions@cru.ie) by no later than 17:00 on 20th October 2023.
