CRM Exception Application and Opt-out Notification Process for the T-4 2026/27 Capacity Auction

The Regulatory Authorities (RAs) today, 4 May 2022, publish the briefing note for the Exceptions Applications and Opt-out Notification Process for the upcoming T-4 2026/27 Capacity Auction.

This is to inform Industry of the timelines involved in processing Exception applications (USPC and New Capacity) and Opt-Out Notifications for the T-4 CY2026/27 Capacity Auction, due to take place in February 2023.

The RAs have published the following documentation in respect of the this Capacity Auction:

  • SEM-22-014a Appendix A - 2026-27 New Capacity Application Template
  • SEM-22-014b Appendix B - 2026-27 USPC Application Template
  • SEM-22-014c Appendix C - 2026-27 Opt-out Notification Template

    • The deadline for submitting an Opt-out Notification to the RAs is 7 July 2022 and the deadline for submitting a USPC or New Capacity Application is 9 September 2022.
