Decision on Intermediary Arrangements in the SEM The SEM Committee published a Decision Paper on 15th September 2020, on the application of Intermediary Arrangements in the SEM following on from SEM-17-025. Intermediary Arrangements under the Trading and Settlement Code allow a third party to act on behalf of a Generator owner in relation to specific Generator Units in the SEM. The Decision includes a broader set of eligibility criteria to allow market participants to apply to be represented by an Intermediary where they do not wish to accede to the Trading and Settlement and Capacity Market Codes. The Decision also outlines the mechanism through which a new technology may be included in future Intermediary arrangements. A Form of Authority specific to Supplier to Supplier Intermediary arrangements will be developed and published shortly. - SEM-20-033 Consultation Paper on Intermediary Arrangements in the SEM - SEM-20-063 Decision on Intermediary Arrangements in the SEM Update: On 12 November 2020, Criterion D of the eligibility criteria was amended to revert to its original text, as part of it was removed in error.
