The SEM Committee is today, 24 June 2020, publishing a Consultation Paper on Aggregation in the SEM. The consultation paper outlines the activities of existing market participants in the SEM which could be considered to fulfil the definitions of Aggregation as outlined in the Clean Energy Package. It then examines the facilitation of market participation for these entities and highlights some additional topics on regulatory oversight of Aggregators and future aggregation framework development. Any interested stakeholders, parties and individuals can submit a response to the consultation which can be provided to Heather Pandich (hpandich@cru.ie) and/or Ian McClelland (Ian.McClelland@uregni.gov.uk). The consultation will close on 5 August 2020. |
