The Regulatory Authorities invite interested parties to attend a public workshop on REMIT, which is the EU Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency. REMIT sets out EU-wide rules in relation to the prohibition of market abuse and provides a regime for the reporting of energy transactions by market participants to ACER.
The Regulatory Authorities plan to hold a workshop on REMIT, with SEMO and Gaslink, focusing on the obligations on market participants under the REMIT market rules and proposed transaction reporting regime. The workshop is planned from 10:45am to 13:00 on 8th May 2014 at the Aishling Hotel in Dublin city (near Heuston railway station).
Anyone interested in attending the workshop should contact Andrew Ebrill (aebrill@cer.ie) at the CER by no later than 17:00 on Thursday 17th April 2014, as numbers will be limited. A workshop agenda will then be sent to all attendees by e-mail.
