Modifications to Electricity Supply Licences to Facilitate the Single Electricity Market - Decision Paper

On 25th October, the Regulatory Authorities (RAs)  published the decision paper on Modifications to the Electricity Supply Licences to Facilitate the SEM. On the 17th September, the Regulatory Authorities published a consultation paper (AIP-SEM-07-472, below) on a number of outstanding modifications to the ESB PES and non-PES electricity supply licence conditions which are needed to facilitate the implementation of the SEM.

In consideration of comments received,  the RAs publish the decision paper in respect of these proposed changes to the supply licences. (below)

The final Electricity Supply Licences to facilitate the SEM have not been altered since they were published for consultation on the 17th September. In this respect, the final licences are those which are published below on that date.

 

Modifications to Electricity Supply Licences in Ireland to Facilitate the SIngle Electricity Market - Consultation Paper

On the 17th September, the Regulatory Authorities published a consultation paper on a number of outstanding modifications to the supply licence conditions which are needed to facilitate the implementation of the SEM.

The RAs are consulting on these changes and comments are invited from interested parties by the 5th October. Comments should be sent, preferably in electronic form, to Caroline Johnston (cjohnston@cer.ie).

Decision

On the 26th June, the Regulatory Authorities published a decision paper on modifications to apply to the ESB PES and non-PES electricity supplices in the Republic of Ireland to facilitate the SIngle Electricity Market. Also published are the final versions of each of the Supply Licences

Draft Decision

On the 19th June, the Regulatory Authorities published a draft decision paper on modifications to apply to the PES and non-PES electricity supply licences in the Republic of Ireland to facilitate the SEM.The draft decision is made in consideration of comments received to the consultation paper published on May 16th. The final licences will be published on June 26th.

Consultation

Notification to Supply Licensees of Proposed Amendment to Electricity Supply Licences for the SEM

On May 16th the Regulatory Authorities published a consultation paper on the conditions proposed to apply to the PES Supply Licence and the generic brown SUpply Licences in the Republic of Ireland for SEM. Comments are requested on this paper by the close of business on 8th June 2007.
