Ancillary Services Workshop Notes and Slides
Eirgrid and SONI, in conjunction with Regulatory Authorities, held Workshops in Dundalk on 29th April and 1st May 2008, to discuss with interested parties arrangements for harmonised All-Island Ancillary Services. This was further to the Regulatory Authorities' high-level decision paper on Ancillary Services published in February (SEM-08-013)
Please find attached a copy of the slides provided at the Ancillary Services Workshops and also a summary of the main points noted over both days, as prepared by EirGrid and SONI.
All interested parties are kindly asked to send any further thoughts, options and/or worked-up proposals on Ancillary Services to the system operators for their consideration as they prepare the detailed design of harmonised All-Island Ancillary Services regime. In the first instance any correspondence should be addressed to Leslie.burns@soni.ltd.uk and Conor.kavanagh@eirgrid.com . In order to meet the project timelines, it is requested that correspondence is provided by the end of May 2008.
This will feed into a detailed consultation paper on the harmonised Ancillary Services Arrangements to be published later this year.
