NI Distribution Code
On 25th October the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation has approved the Distribution Code for the purposes of condition 27, paragraph 2 of NIE's licence to participate in Transmission.
NIE - NI Distribution Code Consultation
On the 25th July, the Regulatory Authorities published the NIE Distribution Code Consultation Paper and the NIE Draft Distribution Code.
As part of the arrangements for teh SEM and the implementation of the IME Directive, it is necessary to separate out the operation of the Distribution System in Northern Ireland. Currently the NI Grid Code acts as both a grid code and a distribution code. It is now proposed to separate out a distribution code. Responses to the consultation are invited by 10th August 2007.
