Incentivisation of All-Island Dispatch Balancing Costs decision

In June 2011, the SEM Committee consulted on the incentiviasation of the TSOs to manage all-island Dispatch Balancing Costs (SEM-11-048).   A decision paper on the matter now follows the consultation process.

The paper details an incentive for EirGrid and SONI, an Transmission System Operators (TSOs), to effectively manage and reduce DBC.   This will be combined with an ex-post review.   A reporting mechanism for regular updates on levels of constraints, drivers behind Constraints and mitigating measures being taken by the TSOs to manage DBC will also be published by the SEM Committee.
