Today, 11th May 2015, the Regulatory Authorities (RAs) published a consultation paper on the 'Fixed Cost of a Best New Entrant Peaking Plant, Capacity Requirement and Annual Capacity Payment Sum (ACPS) for the Calendar Year 2016'.
Within this consultation paper the figure for the ACPS in 2016 is determined. As in previous years, the value will be finalised in a Decision Paper to be issued by the SEM Committee following the receipt and review of responses.
Views are invited regarding any and all aspects of the proposals put forward in this Consultation Paper, and should be addressed (preferably via email) to Kevin Baron (kevin.baron@uregni.gov.uk) by 5pm on 12th June 2015.
The project team will endeavour to facilitate requests for bilateral meetings with interested parties ahead of the above deadline, and/or within reason following the receipt of responses. Such requests should be lodged as per the contract details above.
