Capacity Market Code Modifications - Working Group 23 Decision Paper

On 11 March 2022, the RAs published the Capacity Market Code Modifications Consultation Paper (SEM-22-007) relating to the proposed modifications:

  • CMC_01_22: New Interdependent Combined Units;
  • CMC_02_22: Timely publication of FAIP; and
  • CMC_03_22: Transparency on Publication of Qualification Results.

The consultation period for this proposal ended on 12 April and today, 17 June 2022, the SEM Committee, publish the decision paper, setting out the following decisions for each proposal:

  • CMC_01_22: New Interdependent Combined Units -  Rejected in its original form, RA amended version to be implemented
  • CMC_02_22: Timely publication of FAIP -  Rejected in its original form, RA amended version to be implemented
  • CMC_03_22: Transparency on Publication of Qualification Results -  Rejected in its original form, RA amended version to be implemented
