Capacity Market Code Modifications Working Group 18 Consultation Paper

On 26 March 2021, the RAs published the Capacity Market Code Modifications Timetable (SEM-21-022) relating to the proposed modifications:

  • CMC_01_21: Amendment relating to the provision of the CAM Report following a Capacity Auction;
  • CMC_02_21:  Amendment to Capacity Market Code Modifications Workshop Agenda Timeline;
  • CMC_03_21: Modification to the provisions for Substantial Financial Completion;
  • CMC_04_21: Verification Requirements for Implementation Plan Milestones.

As set out in this timetable, the RAs will now proceed with the consultation process. This consultation paper provides an overview of the proposal and the feedback received during Working Group 18 which took place on 11 March 2021.

The SEM Committee welcomes views and responses on the proposed modification raised within this consultation paper and request responses to the consultation paper be sent to both Kevin Lenaghan (Kevin.Lenaghan@uregni.gov.uk) and Kevin Baron (Kevin.baron@uregni.gov.uk) by no later than 17.00 on Tuesday, 4 May 2021.
