The Regulatory Authorities wish to draw attention to a current ACER public consultation related to REMIT, which is the new EU Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency. The ACER consultation is intended to collect views in relation to the proposed "REMIT Registration Format", through which National Regulatory Authorities - including the CER and the Utility Regulator - will transmit information on market participants to ACER.
Through the REMIT Registration Format to be decided on by ACER, relevant market participants will have primary responsibility of registering with the CER and the Utility Regulator.
